Update your photo, name, title, connected git identity, and workspace membership.
Update how teammates see your name, photo, and title.
Overview
Open Settings → Profile (/settings/profile). This page is identity for the signed-in account — photo, name, title, and email — plus workspace access. Notification, security, and coding-tool defaults live on their own Account pages.
Set your profile picture
The default avatar uses your initials. Click the photo (Change avatar) to open Upload avatar. Upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP up to 5MB. You can pick a portrait theme and background color before Upload.
Pulse may enhance the image after upload. You can replace it later the same way.
Name
Teammates see First Name and Last Name on issues, comments, and member lists — each up to 50 characters. Title is your job title or role — optional, up to 100 characters.
Each field commits when you leave it or press Enter. Escape cancels the draft. A stored name cannot be cleared to empty; a name you never filled in can stay blank.
Email address
Your email is the unique sign-in for this account across workspaces. Profile shows it; it is not edited from this page.
Connected Accounts
Settings → Connected accounts (/settings/applications) is your git identity for Reviews, plus apps that can access your Pulse account. It is not the workspace Applications catalog (Settings → Applications / /settings/oauth-applications), where developers register OAuth clients.
Personal GitHub account
Connect your GitHub user so review and git-related actions are attributed to you. This is optional and separate from the workspace GitHub installation. Connect account, Reconnect, or Disconnect as needed. Disconnecting your identity does not remove the workspace installation.

Personal GitLab accounts
On a shared GitLab connection, Pulse approves, comments, and merges as you only after you connect your own account for that host. Connect GitLab account per host. The workspace connection keeps working if you disconnect; you just cannot review as yourself on that host until you reconnect.
Connected apps
Connected apps lists OAuth clients that can access your Pulse account, with scopes and last used. Hover a client and choose Revoke to stop its tokens. Empty copy reads No active integrations.
Leave your workspace
Workspace access has Remove yourself from workspace, then Leave workspace. You lose access to everything in that workspace. An owner or admin must re-add you.
The sole remaining owner cannot leave until they transfer ownership (on workspace settings, not this page) or another owner exists.
