Assign and delegate issues

Give an issue an owner, or hand the work to Pulse Agent.

Overview

An issue is assigned to one person at a time. The assignee is responsible for the work. Unassigned issues use No assignee.

Delegate to agent opens Pulse Agent on the issue so the agent can work in that context. The human assignee does not change.

Assigning issues

To assign an issue:

• Open the issue and choose a teammate from Assignee in the properties sidebar
• Click the assignee avatar on a list or board card
• Press A while viewing or hovering an issue

To assign yourself, press I. To clear assignment, choose No assignee.

You can also open the command menu with Cmd/Ctrl K and search for Assign to… or Assign to me.

Delegating to agents

On an issue, click Delegate to agent to open Pulse Agent with that issue in context.

If Agent is missing from the sidebar, ask a workspace admin to enable it.

Managing assigned issues

Assigned issues appear in My Issues. Press Shift S to Subscribe if you want Inbox updates without being the assignee.

Open issues in coding tools

Enable coding tools in Settings → Code & reviews. Then open the issue in a tool with W then O, or press Cmd/Ctrl Alt . to open the last used tool.
