Comments and reactions

Leave comments or reactions on issues.

Overview

Comments and reactions allow for team collaboration within an issue.

Anyone who can open the issue can post comments and threaded replies. React with emoji on a comment. Mentions notify the person you tag.

Post a comment

Comment on an issue by clicking into the "Leave a comment…" field at the bottom of the issue. Press Cmd/Ctrl Enter to post, or click send. Attach files with the paperclip icon or drag and drop.

You can mark a comment Internal when the thread should stay inside the workspace.

Type @Pulse Agent in a comment to invoke Pulse Agent in that thread.

You can also comment on projects and initiatives.

Edit or manage a comment

To edit a comment you wrote, open the overflow menu and select Edit.

The same menu lets you Delete the comment if you have permission. Deleting a root comment also deletes its replies. You cannot undo this.

Threads

To reply, use the "Leave a reply…" field under the comment.

Resolve threads

Resolving a thread marks a question as answered. Use Resolve thread on the root comment. Use Reopen thread if the discussion should continue.

A resolved thread collapses in place so the discussion stays discoverable.

Emoji react to comments

Hover a comment and choose Add reaction. Click an existing emoji to add or remove yours.
