Select issues
Highlight or select one or more issues, then act on them from the keyboard or command menu.
Take actions on one or more issues.
Overview
Highlighting or selecting an issue lets you use keyboard shortcuts, the command menu, or the row's contextual menu. By default, no issue is selected when you open a list or board.
Highlight an issue
- Hover the issue until it is highlighted
- Use
↑/↓to move to the issue
Press Enter to open the highlighted issue.
Select issues
- With an issue highlighted or hovered, press
X - Hold
Shiftand click the issue - Click the checkbox at the left edge of the row (Select issue)
Shift extends a range from the last selected issue. Cmd/Ctrl toggles additively.
Select multiple issues
Once an issue is selected, highlight another and press X again.
To select consecutive issues, hold Shift after the first selection and use ↑ / ↓. Cmd/Ctrl ↑ / ↓ jumps to the top or bottom of the list; add Shift to extend the selection to that edge.
Clear selection
Press Esc to clear selected issues, or use Clear selected on the bulk bar.
Take actions
With one or more issues selected, press Cmd/Ctrl K or click Actions on the bulk bar, then choose the field or command. You can also right-click the selection.
Update multiple issues
Common updates include status, assignee, labels, priority, cycle, and release — the same properties you set on a single issue. See Edit issues.
