Account
Manage your profile, preferences, notifications, and account security in Pulse.
Account
Account settings control how Pulse behaves for you personally — appearance, profile, notifications, and sign-in security. They do not change workspace-wide policy (see Administration).
Open settings from the workspace menu → Settings, or go to /settings/preferences.
Personal settings
| Page | Path | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Preferences | Settings → Preferences | Theme, locale, default behaviors |
| Profile | Settings → Profile | Name, avatar, email display |
| Notifications | Settings → Notifications | Which events reach you and how |
| Account security | Settings → Account security | Password, passkeys, recent auth |
| Connected accounts | Settings → Connected accounts | Linked OAuth applications |
| Code & reviews | Settings → Code & reviews | Personal defaults for reviews tooling |
When Pulse Agent is enabled for your workspace, Agent personalization (Settings → Agent personalization) holds your personal agent defaults and knowledge.
Preferences
Set interface preferences such as theme and language. Preferences apply across every workspace you belong to on this account.
Profile
Update how teammates see you — display name and avatar. Some fields may be managed by your identity provider if your organization uses SSO.
Notifications
Configure notification channels and categories. Sub-routes under Notifications let you tune specific event types without changing workspace routing policy.
Workspace admins configure default notification behavior under Administration → workspace notifications; your personal settings decide what you still receive.
Account security
Manage credentials and step-up authentication:
- Change password (when not SSO-only)
- Register and manage passkeys
- Review active sessions where shown
Sensitive actions in Pulse may require recent authentication — complete verification when prompted.
Connected accounts
View OAuth applications you authorized to access Pulse on your behalf. Revoke access here if you disconnect a tool.
Code & reviews
When Reviews is enabled, personal settings for coding tools and review preferences live here — separate from workspace review connections.
