Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of Pulse and the Pulse app for Microsoft Teams.
Last updated: June 22, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pulse platform and its related services, applications, and integrations, including the Pulse app for Microsoft Teams (the "Teams app") and the Pulse notification bot. Later references to Microsoft Teams are shortened to "Teams". By installing or using the Teams app, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Pulse is a project and OKR management platform. The Teams app is a notification integration that delivers Pulse notifications — such as comment mentions and replies, issue assignments, check-in digests and reports, insight reports, and activity on objectives, key results, projects, initiatives, teams, requests, and releases — to users inside Teams. To use the Teams app, you must have a Pulse account. The Teams app does not provide functionality independent of your Pulse account.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must have a valid Pulse account to receive notifications through the Teams app. Signing out of the integration or removing the Teams app signs you out only from the integration; it does not sign you out of Teams.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
- Your organization's administrator may be required to enable or configure the Teams app before you can use it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other accounts, or related systems or networks.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
- Use the service to send spam or to transmit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Data and privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your data. The Teams app relays notifications generated by your Pulse account and does not store your work data.
Intellectual property
Pulse and its integrations, including all related software, content, and trademarks, are owned by Pulse or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use Pulse's trademarks or branding without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of the content you create in Pulse.
Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Where the service is unavailable or unsupported in a given context, we aim to fail gracefully with a clear message.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service and remove the Teams app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the service if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
