Convert to issues and projects
Link accepted requests to team issues and projects to track delivery.
Convert to issues and projects
Pulse does not replace a request with an issue silently — you link delivery objects so the request stays the intake record and issues/projects carry execution.
Why link work
Linking keeps:
- Original request context (requester, triage history, Key Results)
- Bidirectional traceability between intake and delivery
- Done on the request aligned with shipped work
Create an issue from a request
From request detail:
- Open the actions menu.
- Choose Create issue from request…
- Complete the issue composer — the request is pre-linked.
- Save — the issue appears on the team backlog with the request association.
You can also link existing issues from request detail when you already created work separately.
Link or create a project
From request detail sidebar:
- Link existing project — attach a project already on the team
- Create new project — open the project composer with the request pre-linked
Projects inherit the team context from the request target team.
Multiple links
A request may link to multiple issues and projects when work splits across deliverables. Mark the request Done only when all accepted scope is delivered.
Permissions
Creating issues and projects requires create permission on the target team. Accepting the request requires team manager (or equivalent) access on requests.
