Pulse
Read initiative and project status updates in a personal feed.
Pulse is the status-update feed for initiatives and projects — written updates, not the activity rows in Inbox.
Overview
Updates from work you own or subscribe to land in For me. Recent shows project and initiative updates across the workspace. Rows group under Today, This week, This month, and Older.
Pulse is not Inbox. Check-in digests and other activity still arrive in Inbox.
Basics
Enable Pulse
If Pulse is missing from the sidebar, ask a workspace admin to enable it under Settings → Features (title Pulse). There is no separate Settings → Pulse page.
View Pulse
Find Pulse in the personal sidebar, or press G then U from any page. Open the command menu with Cmd/Ctrl K and choose Go to Pulse. The route is /status-updates.
Switch For me and Recent. Search the feed with Search status updates…. Open an update to read it on the initiative or project. Use New update when you are posting from the empty state.
Why am I seeing this? explains whether you are the author, an owner, a subscriber, or a member of a connected team. Change subscriptions from the initiative or project page — the subscription control in the top-right corner. If you unsubscribe as an owner, the update can still appear in For me.
Inbox notifications
Subscribing to an initiative or project also routes activity into Inbox. See Project notifications to manage those subscriptions. Pulse itself is the written status feed; Inbox is the activity list, including check-in digests.
Custom feeds
You can save a view on Pulse to keep a filter set. Saved views sit next to For me and Recent and replace those tabs while a view is active. See Views.
