Filter, sort, group, and choose visible properties on Pulse list pages.

Display options

List pages in Pulse share controls for filters, sort, grouping, and visible properties. Together they define what you see before you save a View.

Filter with F

Press F on most issue and project lists to open the filter menu. Combine filters such as:

  • Status and status type
  • Assignee, priority, labels
  • Project, milestone, cycle, release
  • Team (on workspace-wide lists)

Filters apply immediately. Clear individual filters or reset all from the filter panel.

Sort and group

Use the display options menu to:

  • Sort by priority, updated time, created time, estimate, and other fields allowed on that page
  • Group by status, assignee, project, cycle, label, parent issue, and more depending on entity

Grouping changes row structure on table views and column layout on boards.

Visible properties

Choose which columns or card fields appear on table and list layouts. Hidden properties stay on issue detail — they are only removed from the current list display.

Saved views persist your display choices for that page type.

Sub-issues on issue lists

Issue lists can include or hide sub-issues:

  • Show sub-issues inline with parents
  • Or filter to top-level issues only (parent_id empty)

This affects planning views and bulk actions — confirm the sub-issue toggle before selecting rows.

Save as a view

When a combination is useful again, save it as a view instead of reapplying filters manually.
