Search

Find issues, projects, requests, and other workspace records from Search.

Find issues, projects, and requests across your workspace.

Overview

Search workspace opens /search. The All tab ranks issues, projects, objectives, initiatives, key results, requests, customers, and documents together. Entity tabs reuse the real Issues, Projects, and Requests lists with the query in ?q=.

Requests on Search follow the requests capability. Customers only appear when you can read customers.

Keyboard

Open the command menu with Cmd/Ctrl K and choose Search workspace….

With the command menu already open and a query typed, Cmd/Ctrl / sends that query to /search (Advanced search).

Mouse

Click Search workspace (magnifying glass) in the sidebar.

On a list, type in the toolbar Search... field to narrow that list by title. That search stays on the current page; it is not workspace Search.

Command menu

Search workspace… opens /search.

Type a query, then Advanced search (Cmd/Ctrl /) to open the Search page with that query.

Basics

Search workspace

Open Search and type in Search issues, projects, requests…. Matches can be identifiers, titles, and other indexed text for those types. The All tab keeps the API's relevance order — it does not re-sort.

An empty Search page lists Recent searches for this workspace on this browser. Clear history from that list.

Open an issue or project from All to peek it in the side panel. Other types navigate to the record.

Search filters

After you search, switch All, Issues, Projects, or Requests. Issues, Projects, and Requests tabs are the entity lists, so you can add filters with F and change display options there.

Search specific views

On a list or board, use the toolbar Search... field. Matching rows stay; others hide for that query. Clear the field to show the full list again.
